Otra Noche en Miami

Otra Noche en Miami is a coming-of-age dramedy short film that follows a group of friends through one last, late-night outing in Miami Beach before graduation, as buried tensions surface and their youth begins to fade. Written by Dartmouth student, Jessi Calidonio, and UF student, Andreina Gonzalez, this story reflects the city's ongoing changes. Using their experiences and upbringing in Miami, Jessi and Andreina intend to work with local cast and crew to create an artistic commentary on the city's growing obstacles with gentrification, low opportunities for artists, and growing hostility towards immigrants. This project is planned to be submitted to and shown to local festivals.
